External Side Retention System Awnings
The Axis SRS is a modern side retention system suited to external buildings, ideal for sun / UV protection, insect resistance, creating privacy and enclosing outdoor living areas.
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
- A single 75 mm galvanised steel roller incorporating cleverly designed tube reducers allowing fabric to roll smoothly, reducing tracking and improving roll performance.
- Extruded aluminium headbox, side channels and base bar, utilising AA 6060 aluminium with a 30% recycled content.
- Two-piece side channel ensures no visible screws or rivets on the finished side channels.
- The fabric is tensioned by utilising a floating guide, located within the side channels, eliminating the possibility of fabric “blow outs” or light gaps.
- Axis SRS have been tested to comply with a Class 3 level of Wind Resistance under European standard EN13561:2009 -01. This level of Wind Resistance equates to a rating of “6” on the Beaufort Scale, equivalent to a wind speed of 49km/h. It is recommended that all awnings be retracted in windy conditions.
